Abstract

It is argued that gender-contingent differences in the racial profile of Olympic track and field medalists between 1992 and 2012 is best explained by race-based differences in sexual dimorphism. Alternative hypotheses for the data are examined but found wanting. Future research into these hypotheses is recommended.
