Abstract

Between 2003 and 2005 height and weight data were collected from adult Estonian men and women aged 20-70 years from all parts of Estonia (8621 subjects, 4034 men and 4587 women). From the data collected, 5 SD somatotypic classifications were formed for all age groups of men and women. The data are planned to be used for assessment of the adult population of Estonia by body build types in order to relate anthropometric data with medical and health development indicators.
