Abstract

The author examines the views of the much-publicized late S.J. Gould and condemns the extent to which Gould allowed his far left political convictions to influence this writing. Gould claimed that science could not be separated from the socio-cultural environment, but the present author rejects this as an anti-science view, exposing the flawed logic employed by Gould when the latter rejected the possibility of objective science.
